What a Year 2025

It is hard to believe the school year is over! As Lehigh's Class of '25 exits the stage with diplomas in hand, we look back on the last nine months of life at Lehigh. From move-in day to rivalry week to the opening of the new Clayton UC, what was the moment you remember best?

Bringing Calculus to Life

What if your Calculus class included laser cutting, coding and robots? At Lehigh, students in the Future Labs: Calculus II Math Lab are bringing math to life through hands-on engineering and design. In this pilot program, students applied core calculus concepts like derivatives and integration while building a heart rate monitor, a stress opticon and a self-balancing robot. From soldering to 3D printing, this lab blends theory with tech, preparing Lehigh’s future makers to innovate far beyond the classroom.

Congrats Class of 2025!

Lehigh celebrated the Class of 2025 at its 157th Commencement with separate ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students on May 17th and 18th. Highlights included remarks from James T. Wassil ’99G ’05G, who gave the keynote address at the graduate Commencement and Doctoral Hooding ceremony. Wassil is an award-winning scientist who has dedicated over three decades to developing and commercializing vaccines intended to prevent infectious diseases. Kate Johnson ’89, delivered the keynote address at the undergraduate Commencement. Johnson is president and chief executive officer at Lumen Technologies, a global technology and communications company, and a technology innovator with a proven track record of driving business transformation success at several Fortune 100 companies.

LUSSI Graduates

Congratulations LUSSI graduates! The Lehigh University Student Scholars Institute (LUSSI) celebrated the Class of '25, reminiscing about four incredible years together, and looking forward to a bright future for all. LUSSI strives to cultivate a sense of community, belonging, and empowerment for students throughout their four years at Lehigh, with a specific emphasis on the first-year experience.

International Bazaar 2025

The International Bazaar was created in 1986 as a way to recognize and celebrate the unique countries and cultures on campus. Now with over 1,000 international students and scholars representing 91 countries and over 40 student cultural organizations on campus, the event has grown to be the largest international celebration on campus.

Integrated Business and Health (IBH) Program

Lehigh’s Integrated Business and Health (IBH) program is a degree for the future. This new inter-college, interdisciplinary undergraduate program trains students to become leaders in the health industry by developing an understanding of the core principles of business alongside an in-depth knowledge of health economics and policy.

Students in Lehigh's Design Labs create custom tables for the reimagined Clayton UC

Students put their design skills to the test crafting custom furniture from downed trees and reclaimed beams salvaged during the remodelling of the Clayton University Center at Packer Hall. These gorgeous tables now sit in the Lehigh University Pub on the third floor of the iconic building. The project was facilitated by Design Labs, a creative hub for Inspiring Future Makers at Lehigh.

2024 Move-In Week

More than 1,500 students from 42 countries and more than 40 states and territories joined the Lehigh family this week as the Class of 2028 arrived on campus.

The gothic-style clerestory windows in the Great Room of the Clayton University Center at Packer Hall are among those being rebuilt as part of an extensive renovation of the iconic building at the heart of Lehigh's campus.
