Digitizing Medieval Manuscripts

Since 2016, Lehigh University has been working with 15 partner institutions, to complete the digitization and online presentation of virtually all of the region’s medieval manuscripts–a total of almost 160,000 pages from more than 400 individual volumes. The grant was awarded by the Council on Library and Information Resource

The Rotating Wheel Rayleigh Taylor Instability Experiment

Arindam Banerjee and his students developed the Rotating Wheel Rayleigh Taylor Instability Experiment, an experiment that studies two-fluid mixing to mimic inertial confinement fusion. The lab, known as the Turbulent Mixing Laboratory, took Lehigh students five years to build from scratch.

Lehigh University welcomed graduates into the alumni family during the 151st Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 20, 2019. Former U.S. Ambassador to India Richard Verma ’90 urged the young graduates to maximize the unprecedented opportunities they have been given to face a problem-plagued world with “the humility and responsibility that comes with power.”
