The Class of 2027 arrived on campus last week, receiving a warm welcome from the Lehigh community as they moved into residence halls and enjoyed a host of activities that included Convocation, Faux Friday, Lehigh After Dark and The Rally.

This year’s incoming undergraduate class includes 1,541 students, arriving from 39 different countries and 48 different states. They were joined by nearly 500 new graduate students.

This year’s Move-In brought out 1,300 volunteers, including 150 faculty and staff volunteers, who helped at activities throughout orientation week.

Lehigh officially opened the 2023-2024 academic year Friday morning with a Convocation in Baker Hall.

First-year students also explored restaurants and the Greenway during the 10th year anniversary of Faux Friday.

A long-standing tradition continued at The Rally, in which the Class of 2027 was adopted by the class that arrived at Lehigh 50 years earlier.
