The winter storm currently impacting the region is forecasted to continue to produce significant snow throughout Sunday evening and into Monday morning. Because of the timing and amount of snow and the need to clear campus roads and walkways, the University will operate on a remote teaching, learning and work status on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Faculty and staff are asked to teach and work remotely, where possible. Supervisors should demonstrate flexibility if staff working remotely need to attend to storm-related home responsibilities, are experiencing power outages or are otherwise unable to work remotely.

Employees designated as Essential Services Staff should report to work as scheduled. We are grateful to the crews working around the clock to keep our campus safe.
