The Lehigh-UN Partnership brought nearly 100 students, faculty and staff to the United Nations in February for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science Assembly.

The event, which had sustainable development as its theme, aimed to bridge women in science and the international community and connect science and policy. Ginny McSwain, associate professor of physics, and Gabrielle String, assistant professor in civil and environmental engineering and the College of Health, presented.

Four students served as rapporteurs, helping to coordinate the event, take notes and produce a post-conference report.
