To help celebrate 50 years of undergraduate women at Lehigh, the Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG) is featuring the exhibition series Hear Me Roar: Women Photographers. The four-part exhibition, which features a total of 78 photographs, focuses on women photographers represented in the galleries’ collection.

The images, created by 10 female photographers from the United States, Panama and Chile, will be on display Aug. 23 through May 27, 2022. Part I, featuring Florence Meyer Homolka, is located in Dubois Gallery in Maginnes Hall, while the works of Joyce Tenneson and Jeanine Michna-Bales are in Part II at The Gallery at Rauch Business Center. Images from Eugenia Vargas-Pereira, Holly Andres, Kristin Capp and Donna Ferrato are included in Part III in Siegel Gallery at Iacocca Hall, and the Fairchild-Martindale Study Gallery is housing Part IV, which is comprised of photographs by Sandra Eleta, Lydia Panas and Jennifer Williams.

The images range from 1952, the year Meyer Homolka created seven of her images, to 2017, when Donna Ferrato captured her photograph at the Annual Brides March in Bronx, NY.
