Dan Frangopol named Engineer of Year by Lehigh Valley ASCE

Dan M. Frangopol, the Fazlur R. Khan Endowed Chair of Structural Engineering and Architecture, has been named 2016 Civil Engineer of the Year by the Lehigh Valley section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (LVASCE). Frangopol was cited for “outstanding achievements and contributions to the profession, ASCE, and the community.” The award ceremony was held April 18 during a student dinner meeting at Lehigh’s Fritz Engineering Laboratory.
