Thanks for your support

The rain held off just long enough for Reunion 2009 last weekend, and the 800 or so alumni who attended had a phenomenal time. So did I!
I love having the opportunity to chat with our alumni—to hear their stories and get the latest updates. We’re already gearing up for Reunion 2010, featuring the ’0 and ’5 classes (although everyone is invited). Mark your calendars right now: May 21-22. I hope you join us!
Here’s something else you can do right now—something that will really help a lot.
It’s an anxious time right now. I know if you’re like most people, including me, you’re cutting back and spending conservatively.
Our fiscal year ends in just over a month. The Lehigh Fund goals we set for this year were ambitious, and we set them when the skies were a lot bluer. Total dollars contributed are down as a result, and we have adjusted our plans appropriately.
However, the number of alumni who have given this year is getting very close to our goal for the year. We would love to make it the rest of the way—and you can help us do it.
A gift of any size makes a big difference—because your gift demonstrates your support for Lehigh. Yes, even small gifts speak volumes, and send a strong message that your alma mater matters to you.
If you can help us cover the home stretch, please visit giving.lehigh.edu today (or at least by the end of June).
Thank you so much.
