Students collect coins for kids

The coins are piling up on South Mountain as a group of Lehigh students work to raise money to help children locally and around the world. The money, stemming from fundraiser events such as a chess competition and MP3 raffle, will be donated to UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund), St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem.
You can support this noble cause by donating money (coins, cash, and checks accepted) or taking part in the following activities:
• Play chess and win at International Bazaar! Challenge our players and if you win, get more than your money back! Sunday, April 10th, right outside the UC.
• Enter the raffle to win an MP3 player. Pay with cash, coins, or GoldPlus to win an MP3 player. Raffles on sale at the Lehigh Idol (11:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. on April 8th and 15th).
• Donate money to the cause outside the UP sponsored movies this weekend, April 8-9.
• Finally, help us build a coin ‘mountain!’ Watch out for more information around campus.
