Will Pemberton, who majored in finance and minored in political science, was senior class president, only the second African American to hold that position in Lehigh’s history. He interned at OneMain Financial in Chicago, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Chicago and Citigroup in New York. In addition to class president, Pemberton chaired the Lehigh Minority Business Alliance, served as a TRAC Fellow writing tutor/mentor and a teaching assistant in a Financial Modeling course. He also served in Lehigh Student Senate, the College of Business Senior Council and other groups.

Patrece Savino ’20

Patrece Savino majored in both marketing and supply chain management. She was a digital and social media marketing intern at BFG Communications in Bluffton, S.C., and a consumer engagement intern at Barilla Group in Northbrook, Ill. At Lehigh, Savino was a TRAC Fellow writing tutor/mentor, a research assistant in marketing and a teaching assistant in Intro to Marketing and Marketing Analytics in a Digital Space course. She also was a supply chain management scholar, university scholar and YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund recipient.

Allison Hoch ’20 MBA

Allison Hoch, who earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Bucknell University and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from University of California, Davis, said Lehigh’s FLEX MBA program broadened her business acumen. To be effective as a leader in biotechnology, she said, it’s crucial to know both business and science. Hoch’s long-term goal is to deliver effective and safe therapies for appropriate patients with unmet clinical needs. She also aims to use her platform to establish the biotech/pharmaceutical industry as a respected industry.

Erick Dela Pena ’20 MBA

Erick Dela Pena was promoted from sales engineer to senior sales engineer after starting the FLEX MBA program. He said he chose the Flex MBA because of its comprehensive curriculum and live classroom experience. He said he gained a broader perspective in evaluating problems and the tools necessary to validate business decisions. Dela Pena hopes to continue to grow as a leader and
work his way up to a senior leadership role.
