For the fourth consecutive year, Lehigh was named in the top 10 on Poets&Quants' ranking of Top Online MBA Programs. Lehigh ranked No. 6 in the 2021 listing out of the top 47 ranked programs in the country.

In Poets&Quants annual ranking of online MBA programs, schools and recent graduates were surveyed to form the ranking of top online MBA programs. Rankings were based on three key aspects: the quality of incoming students, the academic and extracurricular experience rated by recent graduates, and the career outcomes of graduates. In offering a choice across seven different concentrations, the Lehigh FLEX MBA program is designed to serve students from diverse backgrounds who have a wide range of industry experiences and career interests and future aspirations.

Graduates surveyed answered questions regarding career support and outcomes. Weighted at 40% within the Career Outcomes section was the percentage of students who received both a salary raise and a promotion as a result of the MBA program.

"Since starting my MBA program, I have been promoted from sales engineer to senior sales engineer," said Erick Dela Pena MBA ‘20, senior sales engineer at CoreSite.

The Lehigh FLEX MBA Program is designed for working professionals and can be completed on campus or online. The program is truly flexible when compared to traditional on-campus-only MBA programs because students can seamlessly attend classes either on campus or online, at any time throughout the program.

“The MBA from Lehigh ultimately led to a promotion,” said Kerry Mickley MBA ’19, director industrial power units & manifolds, North America, Bosch Rexroth.

“Lehigh’s ClassroomLIVE technology was pretty unique," she said. "Half the class was present, half the class was remote. I was really shocked how interactive it was. You can see and hear everyone and they can see and hear you just as if we were all in the classroom together. If you have questions, it’s easy to communicate and interrupt. I was really shocked how fluid it was.”

The Lehigh FLEX MBA courses are offered through the university's live, synchronous online platform ClassroomLIVE. The integrated, web-based learning environment delivers programs in real-time from classrooms on Lehigh’s campus to students in their homes, offices or hotel rooms when traveling. Students interact live with professors and other students during the class as it’s actually taking place on campus.

"I was pleasantly surprised by how integrated the online learning environment was with ClassroomLIVE," said Piaget Francois Shouldice MBA ’19, regulatory affairs senior specialist, Merck & Co. "We even did live breakout sessions during class, which paired online students with students present in the classroom and we always had thought-provoking discussions and output."
