January 19, 2010: Update from the Lehigh University Health and Wellness Center
H1N1 flu activity has been declining in the U.S. in recent weeks, and there has been no significant seasonal flu. However, illness due to influenza is expected to continue for several more months. Many experts are predicting a third wave of H1N1 flu this spring.
CDC recommends influenza vaccination as the best way to protect against the flu and encourages everyone to get vaccinated. The Health and Wellness Center still has doses available, but please do not delay, as we cannot guarantee an adequate supply after January 22.
Students, faculty and staff may call 610-758-3870 for an appointment to be vaccinated against H1N1 flu.
